I got some great photos yesterday morning. So now that I have my photos, I am ready for it to melt into Spring 🙂
Agree. I too have gotten enough snow photos for the year.
It’s a bit ironic that I will be probably be posting some of my snow photos next week after the snow is gone and I spent all this time complaining about it 🙂
Well, the snow does make great photos. I still have a few I might post from this year as well.
Great future tense picture! I had to smile when I saw it because it was so obvious (and obviously lovely). I am a huge lilacs fan (especially the purple ones). We have a hedge along the west side of our property and it smells like heaven in the spring. We are still buried in snow, so no spring anytime soon, but the promise is that it will…eventually…come. 😉
I hope you’ll be enjoying your lilacs before you know it Sandra. I believe I actually buried my face in this one when I saw it, so anxious to smell the scent that to me truly is the harbinger of spring. We have a big lilac hedge too, and I can’t think of better spring activity than going outside to cut some of those lilacs. Happy spring soon I hope.
Your lovely picture brought to mind our huge lilac hedge we had in our yard in Connecticut when I was growing up. I miss lilacs. They don’t grow we’ll in this part of the country, but I just got an advertisement from a nursery that said something about a type of lilac we can grow here. I’m going to check it out.
I hope you do Susan. We have a hedge of the old-fashioned lilacs behind our house that actually belong to the neighbor. But we also have a couple of newer dwarf lilac variety bushes in our landscaping. They don’t put on quite the dramatic show as the old fashioned ones do, but have a lovely fragrance and are more mildew-resistant than the old ones. Maybe they will work for you.
Yes! I’m looking forward to lilac time!
Me too. These were forced into bloom for a garden show, but this time of year, a very welcome sight and scent.
Yes! The promise of Spring! 😉
I hope it’s not too much farther into the future. Thanks for stopping by.
Ah Spring, I can’t wait, we are getting buried in snow here today. Love the photo 🙂
Thanks. By the looks of your photos, I see you’re anxious for spring too. Hope your snow melts soon.

I love Lilacs. 🙂
I do too. Can’t wait until they bloom for real.
Reblogged this on rendrasyahputrablog.
Thanks for the reblog.

And I think many will be less tense when that future arrives!
amen to that!
My favorite all time flower! I can almost smell them!
I love them too. And lilac-scented candles and such never quite measure up to the scent of the real thing.
